BATTERY TESTING LABORATORY
The Battery testing laboratory performs tests on different types of batteries, depending on the technology and the type of batteries, following the procedures described in respective international standards or specially designed procedures.
Indicative Services Provided
The tests concern the evaluation of electrical characteristics of the batteries, such as capacity, starting current (for car batteries), endurance in charge-discharge cycles, etc.
Indicative Laboratory Equipment
- Programmable charging / discharging units, for various power values, fully controllable by PC
- High rate discharge unit, for 12V batteries and discharge currents up to 1500A
- Temperature controlled chamber and bathroom
