LABORATORY FOR TESTING OF PHOTOVOLTAIC DEVICES

The laboratory for testing of PV modules and cells provides the possibility of evaluating these devices, mainly through the recording of their charcteristic current-voltage curve (IV curve).

• Measurement of the efficiency of PV modules & arrays using sunlight, according to international standards (Outdoor IV measurements of PV modules and arrays)
• Measurement of the efficiency of PV cells using a solar simulator, according to international standards (Indoor IV measurements of PV cells)
• Long Term Outdoor PV module Testing of the performance and electrical characteristics of PV modules in the field
• Detection of failures of PV modules and cells using thermal analysis (IR Thermography of PV modules and arrays)
