CRES provided technical support to the Regulatory Authority for Energy concerning the technical and economical evaluation of investment proposals in the field of power production from renewable energy sources & CHP. The evaluation is carried out according to established procedures as they are described in the relevant “Code for the electrical energy Production Permit concerning RES & CHP projects” and the “Guide for the evaluation procedure of RES & CHP projects”.

In particular, the services provided were, as follows:

• Technical & economical evaluation of applications for licensing production of electricity from renewable energy plants, small CHP and hybrid plants
• Technical & economical evaluation of applications for modification permits production of electricity from renewable energy plants, small CHP and hybrid plants
• Assessment of applications RAE review decisions on applications for amendments to licenses or production of electricity from renewable energy plants, small CHP and hybrid plants.
• Support to update the information systems of RAE concerning the evaluation results and other required data.
