RePublic_ZEB, “Refurbishment of the Public building stock towards nZEB”, is a European Commission funded project that brings together partners from the South-Eastern European countries to develop and promote Near Zero Energy Building (nZEB) tools, in accordance with Article 9 of the EU’s Energy Performance of Building Directive.
The main actions of the project include engaging with public building stakeholders and authorities, measuring, analyzing and benchmarking current performance, testing the benchmarks on sample refurbishment projects, and developing practical, user-friendly tools that will help stakeholders to select the most cost effective mix of measures needed to maximise carbon savings and minimise energy demand.
In this framework, Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving, organized a training meeting on "Energy Efficiency and cost optimality in the renovation of public buildings to nZEB" in CLIMATHERM exhibition, on 25th of February 2016.
