Project Description:
Under the framework of OPC, Measure 2.1, Action 2.1.1, a contract for a study has been assigned to the Center for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) in order to promote the energy efficiency in the public sector through energy audits in 25 selected public buildings. In this study, the appropriate energy efficiency measures for each of the 25 public buildings are defined, classified and evaluated both technically and economically, depending on the building type and use (e.g. office building, hospitals etc.).The suggested energy efficiency measures originally concern the 25 selected buildings, however they could be applied in all public buildings of the country with similar constructive and operating characteristics.
