Phokion K. Deligiannis. Born in Athens in 1953. He studied mechanical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and at the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich. From 1977 to 1984 he worked in Piraiki Patraiki S.A. (cotton manufacture) dealing with new and upgrading industrial premises. Since then, he has been working at the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), responsible for infrastructure and industrial development issues. He is a member of the Technical Committee of the IRC HELP FORWARD (partner of the Enterprise Europe Network Hellas), member of the Board of Management Organisation Unit (MOU) SA and member of the Economic and Social Committee. Since 1992 he has been much involved in planning and monitoring operations of the programming periods. He represents SEV to the Conference of Presidents of the NSRF Monitoring Committee and the Monitoring Committee of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness-Entrepreneurship).
