Active in the areas of building physics, energy conservation, rational use of energy, energy performance assessment of buildings, thermal building simulations, CFD modelling, natural ventilation, energy diagnostics and building energy audits, indoor environmental quality, renewable energy sources, environmental impact, numerical analysis. Participation as a research associate and as a scientist-in-charge in various national and European projects. National representative in the Annex 35 technical committee of the International Energy Agency working on Hybrid Ventilation. Author and co-author of 27 papers in international and national journals, 45 papers for conferences. Invited reviewer of papers for the Journals Solar Energy and Energy and Buildings.
